Valtheran

The Valtheran were a nation of Warriors in the legend of the Dragons, residing within the kingdom of Valtheria. They are a proud and noble kingdom that was built and based around the premise of magic and the six sacred stones. The Valtheran kingdom has seen much war, in particular the war against the Warfang war-hosts of the northern wastes. After a long war with the Warfang, they would merge with their former enemies and form the Draigar kingdom.

Early History:

Not much is known about how the Valtheran kingdom came into being, all that is known is that its conflict with the Warfang war hosts awoke the six Dragons of war. These Dragons grew to define the era, and eventually cause the Valtheran and Warfang to unite, fusing their nations together to create the Draigar, the Dragon nation.

War with the Warfang

From the beginning, the warlords of the northern Warfang tribes envied and despised the Valtheran kingdom. It is rumoured that the Valtheran kept the six sacred stones within their greatest stronghold, the Warriors Fortress, and that is the true reason behind the age long war between the Warfang and the Valtheran. This conflict grew to define both nations and awoke the six Dragons of war. This war is what the initial Mega Bloks Dragons series is based upon.

Culture

The Valtheran were a proud warrior kingdom, built around magic and the technology of the time. Having lived on more fertile and habitable terrain, the Valtheran were able to advance both culturally and technologically. Perhaps more civilized than their Warfang enemies, the Valtheran warriors were noble and valiant, a trait likely inherited by the Draigar.

Standard

The emblem of the Valtheran kingdom was a side profile of a dragon head within a triangular frame. The Valtheran warriors rallied under a blue or black banner bearing a white Valtheran emblem.

Equipment

Warriors of the Valtheran were clad in dark silver-coloured armour with crested helmets that evoked a sense of grace and elegance. They wielded bladed weapons such as battleaxes and spears, and bore black triangular shields bearing the Valtheran insignia on a blue, silver, or red field.

The Valtheran also developed the ballista, a precise siege weapon with which they could defend their fortresses from invaders.
