Shadow Dragons were the reborn spirits of evil Dragons after they died. They had the ability to morph into shadows and steal the life energy of other creatures. During the Metal Ages, two Shadow Dragons helped Scylla by enchanting the weapons and armour of the Odaku army. They killed Targon and Aroara, unknowingly causing their own demise. Targon and Aroara were reborn as Light Dragons, who then killed the Shadow Dragons. However, after the death of Slann, Scylla's personal Dragon, he was reborn as a new Shadow Dragon. Shadow Dragons all gained their power from Shadow Krystals, Krystals that were corrupted at the death of the evil dragon.
